Cheer
The objective of our Blessed Sacrament athletic program is to provide the student with an atmosphere that encourages all athletes to reach their fullest potential, while being part of the team.
ALL 7th - 8th grade girl students have an opportunity to participate in the BSS Cheer Program. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness and development of fundamental skills. The coaches will focus on creating a positive environment, development of the student-athlete and the importance of working as a team.
AGES
All 7th and 8th Grade Blessed Sacrament Girls.
GAMES
The BSS Cheer team will cheer for ~10 to 12 8th Grade Boys Basketball Home Games per season and cheer at the annual Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus boys basketball tournament.
EXTRA COSTS
There is no cost to participate other than the one-time Blessed Sacrament athletic fee that is charged to each participant prior to participation. This is a one-time fee for each participant per academic year regardless of how many sports they play.
WHEN
The BSS Cheer Team will cheer for BSS 8th Grade Boys Basketball Home Games. The IESA Boys Basketball Season runs from mid October through early February.
WHERE
Practices and home basketball games take place at Blessed Sacrament School.
UNIFORMS
Uniforms are provided by Blessed Sacrament School and must be returned at the end of the season.
