Golf
The objective of our Blessed Sacrament athletic program is to provide the student with an atmosphere that encourages all athletes to reach their fullest potential, while being part of the team. ALL 5th - 8th grade students will have an opportunity to participate, with emphasis placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and development of skills. The coaches will place emphasis on creating a positive environment, development of the student-athlete and the importance of working as a team. With these objectives and priorities, along with hard work and determination, winning should be the result of our actions versus a goal or measure of success.
Ages
All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Blessed Sacrament Students.
When
The Blessed Sacrament Golf Season runs from early August through early September.
Where
In 2024 practices will be held at Pine Lakes Golf Club in Washington, IL. Meets will take place across the Peoria, IL area.
Practices
The team will typically practice once per week during the season.
Games
2024 is Blessed Sacrament's inaugural Golf season. For 2024 the team will participate in 3 to 5 golf meets. Blessed Sacrament is on the IESA's waiting list for the sectional meet.
UNIFORMS
Polo shirts are provided by Blessed Sacrament School. Shorts are the responsibility of the participants.
Extra Costs
There is no cost to participate other than the one-time Blessed Sacrament athletic fee that is charged to each participant prior to participation. This is a one-time fee for each participant per academic year regardless of how many sports they play.
